Good afternoon BCS Families,

I hope and pray that you are all doing well and that your child is succeeding academically during our Distance Learning Program. I know some time has passed since my last update regarding reopening our upper grades, so I thought I would give one since we have new information. As many of you may know, Riverside County was placed in the red tier yesterday. This offers some positive news regarding reopening our grades 6-12. If our County stays in the red tier for the next two weeks, we are able to reopen. During this waiting period, several administrators will be working on the following:

  • Revising our K-5 Reopening Plan to fit requirements for grades 6-12.
  • Continue to work with County officials to make sure our plans are in compliance with local and state guidelines.
  • Pray that we stay in the red tier over the next couple weeks.

If we get the approval to reopen our upper grades in the next two weeks, we are looking to offer onsite learning for grades 6-12 as soon as possible. The reopening date is TBD.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 951-359-1123 or email Mrs. Lemus at alemus@bethelchristianschools.com.

Blessings,

Mr. Pangkee
